1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bewns ("the Service"), operated at bewns.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Bewns is an edge-powered file-sharing platform that allows users to upload, organize, and share files via a global edge network. The Service includes file storage (secure object storage), metadata management (edge database), automatic image optimization, folder organization ("Bewns"), and shareable links.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, store, or share any illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable content
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Use the Service for spam, phishing, or other fraudulent activities
• Circumvent or interfere with storage quotas, rate limits, or security measures
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content without permission

5. Storage Plans & Quotas

Bewns offers free and paid storage plans. Each plan has defined storage limits and folder limits. We reserve the right to modify plan pricing, features, and limits with reasonable notice. Exceeding your plan's storage quota will prevent further uploads until storage is freed or your plan is upgraded.

6. Intellectual Property

The Bewns service, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by Bewns and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the files you upload. By uploading files, you grant Bewns a limited license to store, process (e.g., image optimization), and deliver your files as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Shared Content

When you generate a share link for a Bewn, the contents become accessible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for managing access to your shared links. Bewns does not control who you share links with.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your uploaded files may be deleted from our systems. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@bewns.com.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Bewns makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service's availability, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bewns shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bewns and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
